The Brady Keep Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to a greener, more resilient Norfolk. We partner with communities and local businesses to implement urban greening and coastal conservation initiatives.

Vision

To become the “keep” of Norfolk’s green values—where every neighborhood has access to green spaces, clean shorelines, and a community prepared for natural challenges.

  • Coastal Resilience: Pilot nature‑based infrastructure (bioswales, rain gardens) to reduce flooding.

Tree planting, permeable sidewalks, and rainwater harvesting barrels for households.

Coastal Clean & Count

Shoreline cleanup, debris categorization, and local advocacy informed by collected data.

Urban Rain Gardens

Rain gardens at community centers/churches (non‑formal education) to reduce local flooding.

Data for Good

Mapping pollution and flood‑prone zones to guide sustainable investment.

Overview: Shoreline cleaning, debris counting, and a mini‑workshop on waste sorting and water safety.
